Student Profiles
Zai Watson, ASGRC President
Hello, my name is Isaiah, but I go by zai. I was born and raised in the greater Seattle area. I have the privilege of being this year’s student body president. I am a computer science student, with a particular interest in data structures and AI. In my free time, I enjoy coding, working out, reading, and playing chess. I am dedicated to fostering an inclusive and equitable community where every student feels empowered to achieve their fullest potential.
Sehoon Park, Finance Coordinator
Hi, I’m second year Green River student from South Korea. I do not have a specific field I am studying, but I look forward to studying economics in the future. The biggest reason I chose to be involved on campus is that I wanted to make our academic year memorable by understanding and fixing current issues that our students have. Fun facts about me are that I like sports, namely baseball. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Marin Gant, Marketing Coordinator
Hiya! My name is Marin. I grew up as a high school leadership student in Maple Valley, Washington. Let me know if there is anything I can do to support you as a student. I am here to help! I am at GRC earning my associates in business while I work on my Academic Transfer. When I am not on campus, I am either hanging out with friends or at Taekwondo practice!
Sky Dowling, Advocacy Coordinator
I’m Sky Dowling, the Advocacy Coordinator for Green River, and a third-year Bio/Chem student. I was born and raised in Auburn and live here with my two cats, Oni and Fern. I feel driven to help build a beautiful world, where people can live their lives to the fullest. Over the past year I’ve brought student struggles to the forefront of our legislators’ attention. I believe in the power of my fellow students’ voices, and endeavor to advocate for them everywhere those voices need to be heard.
Mason LaMonica, Student Involvement Coordinator
Second year Green River student from Forest Grove, Oregon. I am pursuing a transfer degree to study either Education, Counseling, or Therapy services. My involvement stems both from an interest in Student Activities as a career alongside a passion for being involved with the community around me. I spend my time working on art projects such as custom Jewlery or playing games such as Catan with friends. Feel free to contact me to get help with anything on campus, or for how to get more involved!
