FAQ

How do I know which degree or program to select on the application? In most cases, you can select a degree or program from our Areas of Interest which most closely matches your career goals. The Academic Transfer AA-DTA is a general associates degree which may be good for students still exploring their options at the point of admission (this is also most advisable for Running Start students). In most cases, you can update your program with an advisor after admission.

Can I get an exception to the application deadline?Application deadlines ensure that you have enough time to complete all entry processes, or Getting Started Steps, by the start of the quarter. If you were hoping to start right away, but missed the application deadline, please complete the Admission Deadline Exception Request Form. We will let you know the determination via email within 3 business days.

I’m transferring from another college. Which of my credits apply at Green River? Send us your official transcript and request an evaluation. Once admitted, an Academic Advisor can review your records with you to plan your classes.

I applied more than a week ago, but haven’t heard back. What do I do? Your admission letter was likely sent to an unexpected email account or junk mail folder. Please contact us to update your contact information and have your Admission letters resent.

Why does my application status say ‘Cancelled’? Your admissions application was likely cancelled because you are already have an active ctcLink student account. Please check your email for more info.
