Are you balancing parenthood while attending school? We are here to offer holistic and wrap-around support to ensure that you have everything you need to be successful. There are a variety of valuable resources available to student parents.
Green River College pell-eligble students enrolled in at least 6 credits are eligible to apply for the CCAMPIS scholarship program. The program is designed to support student parents while they attain their degree or certificate with in the amounts of $350 to $600 per month. Violence Prevention Center
The Green River Violence Prevention Center (VPC) implements campus-wide strategies to prevent interpersonal violence, promote wellness, and provide support to all members of the campus community that have experienced interpersonal violence (stalking, harassment, sexual assault, and relationship violence). The VPC serves all members of our campus community. People of any and all genders, sexualities, races, ethnicities, ability, age, language proficiency, and immigration status are welcome at the VPC.
Through the VPC you can access free confidential interpersonal violence advocacy, support in navigating college systems, and connections to free campus and community resources. If you need Interpersonal Violence Advocacy outside of business hours, you can contact our community partner DAWN 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 425-656-7867. If you have an immediate safety concern, contact Campus Safety at 253-288-3350. For emergency response call 911.
