Green River College receives regional recognition for excellence in marketing and communications at 2020 NCMPR Awards

By College Relations, November 19, 2020

Green River College's College Relations team recently received top honors from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) - District 7 Medallion Awards competition. This annual competition is exclusive to, and judged by, marketing and public relations professionals at community and technical colleges.

Green River faced strong competition as Distrit 7 is comprised of colleges in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and the Canadian provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Yukon Territory. In total, GRC placed in nine categories, taking home six Gold Medals, one Silver Medal, and two Bronze Medals.

"GRC really knocked it out of the park this year," Philip Denman, senior director, College Relations said. "The College Relations team works hard throughout the year, to be recognized by our peers as leaders in our district is a huge honor. I couldn't be more proud of our team and the work they produce."

The Medallion Awards were presented by NCMPR in a virtual ceremony on Oct. 28, which is available to watch on Facebook: NCMPR District 7 Awards Presentation.
