Green River launches new Susan Burton (Re)Entry Scholarship for system-impacted students, donor pledges to match up to $10,000

The Green River College Foundation and GRC (Re)Entry program recently launched a new scholarship for system-impacted students, in part thanks to a generous match by Susan Burton, founder of A New Way of Life Reentry Project and One Book author.

Green River College awarded IDEAS Grant from the U.S. Department of State’s Capacity Building Program for U.S. Study Abroad

Green River College has been selected to receive an IDEAS (Increase and Diversify Education Abroad for U.S. Students) grant from the U.S. Department of State’s Capacity Building Program for U.S. Study Abroad. GRC is one of 26 colleges and universities from across the United States, selected from 132 applicants, to create, expand, and/or diversify American student mobility overseas in support of U.S. foreign policy goals.

GRC to close to public on Fridays for ctcLink training

Green River College will be closed to the public each Friday between April 30 and June 18, as the College prepares to transition to ctcLink, the PeopleSoft-based system that will replace our current legacy student- and employee-facing software system. During this time, instructional classes will continue as scheduled; however, many student support services (including the GRC Virtual Assistance portal) and campus offices will be closed so employees can participate in necessary training.
