"To condense thousands of learned lessons into a single paragraph is difficult, but if there's one thing I'm sure of, it's that my time at Green River has transformed me for the best. On-campus diversity was unmatched. Intimate class sizes and attentive faculty allowed me to thrive, and the International Programs team was there every step of the way, allowing me to adjust to US life, and transfer successfully. I was also given countless of development opportunities through being involved with Student Life, the Peer Mentor program, and by becoming a leader in multiple organizations. I'm eternally grateful: for this chance to have finished high-school at 16, and get an Associate's while transferring to a dream university at 17. I've grown immeasurably today both as a student and as a person, and it is Green River College and the amazing people here that I have to thank!" - Watch Allegra's High School Completion Testimonial

"I am grateful for all the opportunities I had at Green River College.  The advisors and instructors within the Pyschology department helped me choose the right classes for transferring. I gained some very special mentors and I am grateful for the opportunities I had to work on campus, be a part of the Cheer team, and Phi Theta Kappa honer Society. No matter how big or maybe even a little crazy my dreams about my future were, I always kept in mind to think the unthinkable and be strong and courageous. I am excited about my academic journey to continue at GCU. "

"Green River College served as a crucial catalyst in my personal development and the pursuit of my aspirations. During my time here, I was presented with numerous opportunities to enhance my knowledge through captivating classes, engaging in interesting experiments, and honing my public speaking abilities. GRC is also the place where I discovered my true calling in the field of Computer Science, thanks to the invaluable guidance and unwavering support of my professors and advisors.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I actively engaged in various extracurricular activities on campus. I assumed roles as an ISA, Math Tutor, and Student HelpDesk representative, as well as serving as an officer for both the FISH club and Coding club. These experiences bestowed upon me invaluable attributes, including leadership skills and problem-solving acumen.

I owe my present accomplishments to the collective efforts of the professors, staff, and individuals at GRC, who provided me with an enriching environment to learn and grow. I wish to extend my profound gratitude to my esteemed CS professor, my club and academic advisors, and all my dearest friends who have made this journey even more meaningful. Reach for your dreams and make them come true!"

"Green River College made a huge contribution to my education. Thanks to professional teachers and advisers, I was accepted to the Florida Institute of Technology. College has helped me develop a lot of skills through a wide variety of classes. Teachers are very responsive and eager to teach you something, while advisers spend a lot of time on drawing up a personal education plan. I was given the opportunity to develop and get to know a lot of people from different countries. GRC has given me support and faith that everything can be achieved. I am very grateful for these 2 years at college"

"Green River College was like a home away from home to me. I met wonderful friends and instructors, all of which were essential in guiding me on my personal journey. Green River presents opportunities for international students like no other, by providing us with resources, advising, and a level of instruction comparable to many high-ranked institutions. The depth of knowledge and the practical experience attained here, in small classes with personal connections to the professors is hard to find elsewhere. In addition, the experience I got by working as a chemistry lab assistant, chemistry and biology tutor, and a peer mentor is invaluable for my future employment and success in the professional world. What separates GRC from other institutions is its sheer level of diversity and its welcoming of students from all countries and backgrounds.  I’m extremely thankful to Green River for being my first step into my educational journey in the US. It has been a perfect choice, with its high quality of instruction, excellent advising, ample work opportunities, and above all, a tight-knit community of friends from all over the world, every single one of which has come together to make my time at Green River simply unforgettable. For that, I’m extremely grateful."

"Coming to Green River College at 16 through the High School Completion Program was an incredible decision that shaped my future. GRC provided me with unique opportunities and experiences that I wouldn't have encountered in high school. One of the greatest aspects of my time at GRC was the opportunity to interact with exceptional professors and fellow students. The welcoming community allowed me to immerse myself in a new culture and gain valuable insights. GRC also provided an abundance of avenues for me to get involved and actively contribute to campus life. Through my involvement as a K-Club leader, GRC cheerleader, Peer mentor, Chemistry tutor, and Biology tutor, I developed my leadership and effective communication skills. Without a doubt, my journey at GRC has been instrumental in shaping me into the person I am today, and I will forever cherish the transformative impact it has had on my life."
