Piestewa Challenge

Wear Blue.

Run to Remember.

TOGETHER, LET'S CLOSE THE MONTH OF MARCH with a powerful community effort, called the wear blue Piestewa Challenge, to honor the 177 women who have given their lives in our continued combat operations around the globe.

On this day, 23 March 2024, marks the 21st anniversary of SPC Piestewa's sacrifice. We invite our community to create teams (of 4-8) and collectively run 177 miles, to honor the lives of the 177 women killed in action in the Global War on terror.

Each step is in remembrance of the women who made the ultimate sacrifice. Please join us and unite our community with a shared effort of purpose, health, and connection.

We ask for your presence and support on the last day of the challenge, Friday, March 29, to remember the 179 women who gave up the ultimate sacrifice during our Circle of Remembrance at 12 p.m. in the Kennelly Commons (in between the SA and SU buildings).
