Office of the Vice President of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
The Office of the Vice President of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) is dedicated to fostering a campus culture where every student, faculty, and staff member feels valued, heard, and empowered. Rooted in the college’s mission, the office leads initiatives that promote inclusive excellence, address systemic barriers, and cultivate a learning environment that reflects and respects the diversity of our community.
Under the leadership of the Vice President of EDI, our office collaborates across campus to advance strategic initiatives, such as the establishment of a Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation (TRHT) Center and ongoing professional development opportunities for staff and faculty. Through dialogue, education, and action, we are committed to building a more equitable future for all.
Based on terms defined in the Washington State DEI glossary resources, this subset of definitions can be used to define terms found in Green River’s Equity-Centered Strategic Plan and Non-Discrimination Statement.
