Starting college is an exciting step, and having the right foundation can make all the difference. Our events are designed to help new students transition into college life by building confidence, connection, and a sense of belonging. Welcome Day introduces students to campus resources, peers, and opportunities that support their success. Family Day invites families and loved ones to engage with the college experience and explore ways to stay connected as their student enters this new chapter. Together, these events help students begin their college journey on the right path.
Bonus event: Join us after Welcome Day for the first Gator Volleyball game of the season at 7pm in The Swamp (that's our gymnasium in the PE building)!

Welcome Day is your chance to kick off the fall quarter with confidence and connection. Whether you're new to Green River or returning, you'll meet other students, explore campus, and discover the resources that will support you along the way. Plus, join us after Welcome Day for the first Gators Volleyball game of the season at 7pm!
* Recommended to attend without your family but they are welcome.

Time: 10am-3pm [check-in opens @ 9am]
Having a solid support system makes all the difference. That's why we want your family or anyone who's a part of your support squad to join us for Family Day. We'll have sessions to prep everyone for your college journey. If they can't make it, no sweat - come hangout with us anyway!
*Family Day sessions will differ from Welcome Day.
