Share a bit about yourself and what you have been up to since you left Green River.
After my time at Green River College, I transferred to Hult International Business School and graduated April 2023 with Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and minor in Economics.
How did your education at Green River College prepare you for where you are today?
My dream was always to study in United States, and one of the options to pursue my dream was through Green River College. I decided to join the GRC, and it was one of the best decisions. I received a high school diploma and finished many business classes for my core major. It helped me to adapt to US educational system and save years, which I spent working and gaining experience. I worked in the International Programs Office at GRC, later while finishing my Bachelor’s degree. I did an internship in consulting, and after graduating, I worked at bank. Currently, I am back in my home country and working in an investment firm.
GRC helped a lot in adapt to the US educational system. When transferring to Hult, it was much easier to join classmates and continue my education. And most importantly, I already knew what I wanted in my life and career. Two years at GRC helped me to understand and research my options for the future, so it was much easier to make decisions and navigate through life.
What kind of advice would you give a GRC student who dreams of getting into a top university?
My best advice to potential students would be to plan everything in advance, and gain as much work experience as possible during studying. It will help you to both transfer to top university and later land a dream job.
