My experience in the IEP of Green River Collage program during the summer was simply incredible and completely exceeded my expectations. It was an intensive, effective, and well-structured course where I was able to put all my English skills into practice in a real-life environment. The classes were interactive, dynamic, and motivating, with excellent teachers who were friendly, professional, highly qualified, and always willing to help, just like the entire university team in charge of the program. In addition to the classes, I enjoyed contests, activities, and excursions such as trips to Mount Rainier and the Space Needle, which greatly enriched the cultural experience. Regarding American culture, I had the opportunity to attend American football and baseball games, as well as try traditional Seattle food. My host family was wonderful, amazing people who supported me, helped me improve my English, and with whom I formed very special bonds. I also had the opportunity to meet students from different countries, especially from Japan and Taiwan, with whom I created true friendships that I still maintain, sharing memories both inside and outside the classroom. Without a doubt, it was a transformative experience both academically and personally. If I had the opportunity, I would repeat this experience.

In the U.S. program I learned so much about myself and the different aspects of globalisation, the course was brilliant especially the environmental lessons with Tim! This was probably the best time of my life and would do it again in a heartbeat if I could, I went there knowing nobody and came back with so many new friends and the experience of a lifetime. My favorite part of the whole trip was going to Mount Rainier, it was so beautiful and surreal. I developed so much confidence and will always be so thankful for Green River College for everything.

This program had a great impact on my wellbeing. I became more open minded, stronger and improved my leadership skills and public speaking. Thanks to the Women Leaders Program, during the short time we all became so close. We became a big family. It makes my heart warm. But important thing is the leadership lessons about how to see myself and others in a way which avoids conflict - and it really helps me in my marital life :) Still keeping my heart at peace. If you remember I told you that we were planning to organize A Model United Nations conference, which was held at the National Museum of Tajikistan on July 30. The conference topic was 'No to extremism!' We tried to organize it at a high level. The Ambassador of the United States to Tajikistan, Susan Elliott, spoke at the event. It was a great experience.
