Hi Gators! Sign-up to be considered for an in-person chat (focus group) to share your thoughts about the GRC website with GRC marketing staff!
We are looking for a diverse and inclusive group of participants from all over campus to represent our student body. Participants will be chosen based on diverse demographics and educational goals.
When: Wednesday, Feb 12th at 10:15 a.m.
Focus Group FAQ
If you participate in this study, you will be in a group of approximately 10 to 15 other students. There will be a facilitator who will ask questions and facilitate the discussion, and a notetaker to write down the ideas expressed within the group. If you volunteer to participate in this focus group, you will be asked some questions relating to your experiences with the GRC website. These questions will help us to better understand your challenges and successes with the website. Your participation is voluntary. You may withdraw from this study at any time without penalty.
Focus group will last 30-45 minutes.
All participants who complete the focus group wil receive the following:
- One entry (automatic) into a drawing to receive a $50 Paper Tree bookstore gift card
- Free GRC swag items
- Food and drink available at the focus group
Your participation may benefit you and other Gators by helping to improve the experience that students have on the website, such as better navigation or more relevant content. No risk greater than those experienced in ordinary conversation are anticipated.
Everyone will be asked to respect the privacy of the other group members. All participants will be asked not to disclose anything said within the context of the discussion, but it is important to understand that other people in the group with you may not keep all information private and confidential.
Anonymous data from this study will be analyzed by College Relations staff and may be reported to GRC administrators. No individual participant will be identified or linked to the results. Study records, including the consent form signed by you, may be inspected by the administrators. The results of this study may be presented to GRC representatives; however, your identity will not be disclosed. All information obtained in this study will be kept strictly confidential. All materials will be stored in a secure location within College Relations and access to files will be restricted to paid professional staff.
