January 15th, 2026

Starting April 15, 2026, all BSN and LPN applicants who completed any prerequisite coursework at institutions outside Washington State’s Community & Technical College system are required to have a completed official transcript evaluation on file for their intended nursing program before applying to the LPN or BSN program. Evaluations may take up to 8 weeks or longer, so it is important to submit transcripts early.

  • The evaluation must be complete at the time of application—transcripts that have been submitted and are awaiting evaluation does not satisfy this requirement.
  • Students may not apply until the transcript evaluation process has been fully completed.
  • Applications submitted before the evaluation is complete may not be considered.

Students who completed prerequisite coursework outside of Green River College but within the Washington State Community & Technical College system may apply without a completed transcript evaluation. However, an official evaluation will still be required for credits to be applied toward the degree.

Submit Transcripts for Evaluation

You must submit a Transcript Evaluation Request (TER) form along with your official transcripts. Visit our Transcript Evaluation page to review the process and access the TER form. Evaluations may take up to 8 weeks or longer.
