    • My Information (Academic Dates and Deadlines, Emergency & Safety Alerts, Holman Library, Support Services)
    • My Money (Financial Literacy, Student Financial Aid Portal, Student Scholarships, Gator Pledge)

An overview of Microsoft’s online suite of tools, Office365, available for all GRC students. Learn how to use these tools in an online environment.

  • Log in
  • Navigate applicaitons
  • Save files to the cloud
  • Save files locally

How are you paying for college? This session will give an overview of funding options for GRC students and will guide students through the Financial Aid Portal.

By the end of this session, students will have been shown or exposed to:

  • Broad overview of funding options for GRC students
  • Brief description of how to apply for funding
  • What the FA portal is, how to log in, and how to navigate. Answers to common portal questions.

Discover how the Library, Public Speaking Center, Math Resource Center, Tutoring and Resource Center, and the Writing and Resource Center can help you master content and explore new sources of knowledge on your college journey.

  • Navigating the online library
  • Overview of research resources
  • Finding help from Librarians
  • How to access tutoring services online
  • What you can expect from online tutoring

Overview of Green River's Progress and Completion: Benefits Hub. A service made possible through the United Way of King County, offering students one-on-one support accessing affordable housing, food, transportation, and financial resources. The workshop will give students an overview of these resources.

By the end of this session, students will have been shown or exposed to:

  • How to access the Benefits Hub Coaches through remote options
  • Be familiar with the different resources offered through this department
  • How to request help through the College's Gator Pledge process

This session will provide students with important information about how to take a career assessment, develop an educational plan, use the Degree Audit tool, find classes using the Class Finder site.

By the end of this session, students will have been shown or exposed to:

  • Build a basic educational plan in the Ed Planner tool
  • Run a Degree Audit to check progress and review degree requirements
  • Find classes for your area of interest or study
