Running Start Workshops


We offer workshops to support currently enrolled Running Start students in their academic planning and success.

Degree Planning Workshop

The Degree Planning Workshop is intended for first-quarter Running Start students who plan to earn an associate degree. In this workshop students will learn:

  • About associate degrees offered at Green River.
  • How to choose a degree and plan your classes efficiently.
  • How credits taken at Green River transfer to universities.
  • How to use tools to plan your degree, such as Ed Plan.

Please check back during Fall quarter for workshop registration.

Senior Workshops

These workshops are for high school seniors to learn about applying and transferring to a university after completing your time at Green River. Topics include: how to research universities, transfer steps, applying for financial aid and senior year timeline. Workshops are offered each quarter.
