Study Abroad in Berlin, Germany
Earn 15 credits

Berlin is the largest city and capital of Germany, located in the northeastern region on the banks of the rivers Spree and Havel. With a population of approximately 3.7 million people, Berlin is a world city of culture, politics, media and science.  Modern Berlin is home to world renowned universities, orchestras, museums, entertainment venues and is host to many sporting events. The city is well known for its festivals, diverse architecture, nightlife, contemporary arts and a high quality of living.

You can be part of a group of students from Green River College, and other colleges, to spend spring quarter in Berlin while earning 15 credits. Students will take a course in German Life and Culture as well as two other classes that will be offered. Continue on with your studies while living in one of the most vibrant cities in the world.

While a formal German language course is not offered on this program, we strongly recommend you take German 121 or higher before going! Having a foundational knowledge of the language will help you feel more comfortable navigating the city and will greatly enhance your cultural immersion experience.
