Many U.S. consulates are scheduling visa appointments but wait times can still be long in some countries. If you cannot get your F-1 visa in time for fall move-in day (September 16, 2026), you have two options:
Option 1: Start Online Now, Come to Campus Later
Students can begin fall classes online and come to campus once their visa is approved.
This is for students who have:
- Applied to Green River College
- Received their I-20 and Acceptance Letter
- Met the English proficiency requirement for Academic-Level Students
Option 2: Defer Enrollment to Winter Term
Students can wait and start in the winter term. Move-in day is December 28, 2026.
