Summer 2026 Student Life Activities

Summer 2026 Student Life Activities

By International Programs, July 11, 2026

Summer is the best time for baseball, hiking, and water games! Our International Student Ambassadors (ISA) have planned some super fun events for students taking summer classes.

Each term, the International Student Ambassador team organizes exciting events on and off campus for Green River College (GRC) students. Students can take a break from your studies and enjoy vibrant student life with weekly fun activities! Here are some of the highlights.

  • Campus Walk - Join ISA every Wednesday 2:00PM - 3:00PM for a refreshing walk on the GRC campus walk. Is a great way to reduce stress and anxiety and make new friends!
  • Water Fun - Feeling cooked by summer assignments? Come cool off with ISA x CCA at our summer water fight! Bring your friends, get soaked, and take a break from the stress.
  • Mariners Baseball Game - Assignment hitting harder than baseballs? Come escape reality with ISA at the Mariners Game. Hot dogs, chaos, and hopefully a Mariners win!
  • Hike Mount Rainier - Once a year. One mountain. One chance to touch grass. Join ISA for our annual Mount Rainier hiking trip and survive the hike with us!
  • Movie Night - Experience the true American dream. Join ISA Movie Night where the seats recline so far back you might accidentally fall asleep before the movie ends!
  • Campus Crafts - Assignments stressing you out? Come to our campus craft event. It might turn out amazing, it might look cursed, but that's part of the experience. Best part? It's completely free!
  • Bubble Picnic -Touch grass with ISA at the bubble picnic. It is a great chance to feel like a kid again while meeting new friends!
