Mechatronics Theory and Application, AAS-T
This degree program is designed for students that wish to take Mechatronics, and upon
graduating flow into a bachelor’s program in the field of Mechatronics and/or Automation.
Length of Program: 90 Credits

Maintenance Mechatronics 1 Certificate
This is a one-quarter certification program designed for both the new student entering
the field of Mechatronics and for the current employee who wishes to learn more about
the knowledge and skills currently in demand by employers.
Length of Program: 13 credits

This is a two-quarter certification program designed for both the new student entering

What is Mechatronics?
The word Mechatronics is a combination of two words. The two words are Mechanical and Electronics. They are combined in both title and job function.
- A Mechatronics technician is the highly skilled version of a Maintenance Technician.
- A Mechatronics Technician is the jack of all trades in the industrial Engineering field.
- The Mechatronics field combines the disciplines of mechanical, electrical and computer engineering.
- We are problem solvers in the industrial field.
- The field of Mechatronics is ideal for individuals who like variety and solving problems with their hands as much as sitting down and solving them with a computer.
