GRC Athletics 2020-21 Update

Due to the Stay Home, Stay Healthy order, and in an effort to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, the following sports have been cancelled for the 2020-21 season and will resume again for the 2021-2022 season: Women's Soccer, Volleyball, Men's Basketball, and Women's Basketball.

The following sports will have a reduced schedule for the 2020-21 season with games/meets beginning in February 2020: Baseball, Men's Track & Field, Women's Track & Field, Men's Cross Country, and Women's Cross Country.

Green River Athletics

Green River College offers seven sports, including women's volleyball, women's soccer, men's and women's Cross Country, women's basketball, men's basketball, men's and women's track and field and baseball. 

Gator Athletics is a proud member of the Northwest Athletic Conference, NWAC. Our athletics programs are governed by the rules and regulations of the NWAC. Sports Physical

Green River athletes are required to have a Green River Sports Physical completed prior to participation.

Athlete Code of Conduct

Green River athletes are representatives of their college and community. Their personal conduct will always be subject to the scrutiny of their fellow students, fans, opponents and the media. Therefore, they have an obligation to serve as positive role models.

Recreational Sports

The recreational sports program is an exciting way for students to join competitive sports teams, make friends, have fun and represent the school in recreational leagues throughout the Puget Sound area.

Recreational sports teams are offered each quarter, and are open to all students. No experience is required, just a desire to compete as a team.

Cheer

Primarily a sideline cheer dance program for the winter basketball season, the Gator Cheer team has given students with a background in cheer, dance and tumbling the opportunity to keep their skills sharp.
