Independent Living with Support

CCA provides the value of general cleaning supplies to support the cleanliness and maintenance of their bedrooms and apartments. These items are defined below.

In partnership with their roommates, it is each resident's responsibility to maintain a clean apartment throughout the school year so contracted cleaning vendors can provide a throughout cleaning when a unit may receive a new resident at the start of a new quarter.

What CCA Provides:

• Stove Top cleaning
• Kitchen Area mopping
• Bathroom cleaning
• Vanity mirror cleaning
• Vacuuming of stairwell and second floor landing

What Residents are responsible for:

• Kitchen counter top cleaning
• Kitchen sink cleaning
• Bathroom Vanity cleaning
• Trash removal
• Removing old food products from unit and fridge

How CCA supports residents:

• Free trash bags
• Free disposable cleaning supplies
• Free swiffer mop heads
• Free toilet paper

CCA Staff conducts monthly Health & Safety Inspections to ensure compliance with this expectation. Residents who fail their Health & Safety inspection may incur a cleaning fee to ensure their unit meets Health & Safety Standards. Residents are responsible for coordinating with their roommates to keep their apartment clean. Please dispense your trash/recycling in the appropriate dumpsters and be a good neighbor by ensuring all your trash is in the dumpster and not left on the ground around it.
