Tutoring and Resources at Green River

Need extra help with your classes?

Green River College offers FREE tutoring resources to currently enrolled Green River students. Select from the centers below to learn more.

Language Center / Lab

One-on-one help with Foreign Language class components including grammar, conversation and essay development. Tutors available to help with Spanish, French, German, Japanese and Chinese. Weekly conversation exchange on Fridays at noon for all languages.

Location: Salish Hall 150 and Salish Hall 112 (online for Fall quarter)

Math Learning Center

The Math Learning Center (MLC) provides brief tutorial math assistance for students on a drop-in basis.

Location: Cedar Hall, CH 313 (online for Fall quarter)

Public Speaking Center

Provides one-on-one assistance with oral presentations. You can make an appointment for your practice time on the Public Speaking Center web page.

Location: Holman Library, HL-150 (online for Fall quarter)

One-on-one consulting services for students at all stages of the writing process. Whether you have a question about grammar and usage or need help brainstorming ideas or focusing in essays - faculty and student tutors are here to help.
