Voluntary Framework of Accountability (VFA)

Overview

The Voluntary Framework of Accountability (VFA) is the first comprehensive national accountability system created by community colleges, for community colleges and facilitated by the American Association of Community College (AACC). The VFA provides community colleges with a significantly improved ability to assess their performance, identify areas for improvement, and demonstrate their commitment to their mission.

The VFA data are vital to the college's ability to report outcomes based upon nationally accepted measures of student progress and completion.
