The Gap Year at Green River provides an opportunity for you to study abroad in the United States during the "gap year" between secondary education and university. Depending upon the courses taken and the policies of the receiving university, some of these courses may be transferable.

Washington
Done with high school but not ready or willing to commit yourself to a major or a university? Or do you just want a break from whatever you're currently doing? Come to Green River for a year.
Hawaii
The Green River to Hawaii Program is designed to provide a nine month learning experience at two colleges — one in Washington and the other in Hawaii.
California
The Green River to California program is designed to provide a nine month learning experience at two colleges on the west coast of the United States.
Australia & New Zealand
The Green River to Australia/ New Zealand program is designed to provide a ten month learning experience in the United States, Australia and New Zealand.
