  • NCLEX-PN Success: 80% of graduates will pass the NCLEX-PN on their first attempt.
  • On-Time Graduation: 80% of students will graduate within the expected program time.
  • Employment: 80% of graduates will secure employment within 6-12 months post-graduation.
  • Graduate Satisfaction: 80% of graduates will feel the program effectively prepared them to fulfill the expectations and scope of practice of an LPN.
  • Stakeholder Satisfaction: 80% of community stakeholders, employers, and clinical partners will be satisfied with Green River’s Practical Nursing Program.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the Green River College Practical Nursing Program, students will be able to:

  1. Deliver Safe, Quality Care: Provide innovative, evidence-based, client-centered nursing care to a diverse population across the lifespan.
  2. Exhibit Clinical Judgment: Use clinical judgment that integrates evidence, nursing, physical, and psychosocial sciences to ensure healthcare quality and safety, making client-centered care decisions within the LPN scope of practice.
  3. Collaborate Effectively: Work collaboratively with inter-professional teams, clients, and support persons to enhance care and communication.
