  • English language assistance
  • Study skills and test-taking strategies
  • Math skills and dosage calculations
  • Career exploration

SIM Lab

Green River’s state-of-the-art Simulation (SIM) Lab provides hands-on training in realistic healthcare scenarios.

  • Simulation Suite: Equipped with three beds and high-fidelity manikins (two adults, one pediatric, one obstetric, and one neonate) to simulate a range of patient needs.
  • Observation Room: Faculty can monitor students’ simulation activities through a one-way window system, or assess activities using SimCapture, a cloud-based simulation management system.
  • Debrief Room: Students can watch live or recorded simulations, followed by an in-depth discussion to enhance learning.

The SIM Lab is designed to give students an immersive, supportive environment to practice critical nursing skills before entering real-world clinical settings.
