Study abroad down-under and earn 15 Green River credits in sunny Melbourne, Australia and Auckland, New Zealand.

Program Dates:  Winter Quarter, 2023

Week 1: Online studies in Washington state
Weeks 2-4: Travel to and study in Melbourne, Australia
Week 5: 5 night/6 day travel break in Australia
Weeks 6-8: Travel to and study in Auckland, New Zealand
Week 9: 5 night/6 day travel break in New Zealand
Week 10: Return home and complete 1 week of online study and reflection activities online


15 college credits
Application Deadline:  Extended to October 14!

Melbourne is situated in southeastern Australia. It is one of the great livable cities of the world, noted for its diversity, vitality, and sophistication, a center for arts and culture with ready access to the wonders of Australia's natural history. This makes Melbourne a cosmopolitan, harmonious and dynamic city in which to live and study and Newman College is in an ideal location to enjoy all the activities that the city presents.

In Auckland, New Zealand you will experience Maori culture, New Zealand's natural attractions and culture. Auckland is perhaps the most vibrant and bustling multi-cultural city in the world with it's urban environment, beautiful beaches, hiking trails and glistening harbors.

COVID-19 Update:

Australia is currently open to tourists. Visitors are not longer required to show proof of vaccine or negative test result to enter

New Zealand is now open to tourism. COVID vaccine and testing is not required but a travel declaration attesting to your health status for the past 14 days is required.
