REPORT STUDENT MISCONDUCT

Faculty who observe behavioral misconduct should report the alleged violation to Campus Safety for intake and investigation. Campus Safety will compile the information and forward it to the Office of Judicial Affairs for review.

Suspected academic misconduct should be reported by submitting an Academic Dishonesty Concern.

To report a potential violation of the Student Conduct Code, submit a Report a Crime, Incident, or Concern report or email a report to safetydispatch@greenriver.edu. Please include the following information:

  1. Student name(s);
  2. Date and time of the incident(s);
  3. Description of the incident(s);
  4. Supporting documentation, such as the course syllabus, student work, correspondence with the student(s), digital or scanned evidence, website links, or other relevant materials.
  5. Name(s) of witness(es), including yourself.

Please note that you may be contacted for additional information during the investigation and may be called as a witness during a student conduct hearing. Witnesses may be asked to provide a statement regarding the incident. If you are unable to attend a hearing in person, you may submit a written witness statement by email.
