SUSI Safety & Security

Campus Safety

The Green River Campus Safety Department is committed to a comprehensive approach in providing a safe and inclusive community where students, faculty, staff and visitors may experience a sense of security and belonging. Please visit Campus Safety for more information.

Safety Tips

Green River College and the surrounding communities are relatively safe areas; however, it is prudent to take certain precautions that you would take in any town or city with which you are not generally familiar. We advise you to not go walking alone at night, avoid isolated areas after sunset, and be aware of your environment.

Please also guard your personal belongings, wallets, backpacks, or handbags, especially in crowded areas in the city or on a bus. Thieves on campus may take advantage of unattended property, so be on your guard. Please also guard your passport carefully.
