Congratulations to class of 2020

Dear international students,
As spring quarter comes to an end, I wanted to reach out and commend all of you for the strength and resilience demonstrated during these challenging times as the world continues to deal with the global coronavirus pandemic. I applaud you for your commitment to pursuing your education. Thank you for choosing Green River to be a part of your journey.
I know spring quarter wasn’t easy. The challenges were significant. You had to shift to online learning and virtual assistance. You had to find creative ways to connect virtually with instructors, advisors, classmates, and friends. Some of you returned home and had to wake up in the middle of the night to join a class. Despite these challenges, you each adapted to the changing conditions and achieved success. For this, know that you have my deepest respect and admiration.
Congratulations Graduates! Join us at for Green River’s virtual Commencement tonight at 7:00 pm. We are so proud all our graduates. Know that we will be cheering you on virtually!
Summer and Fall
For those who are not graduating this quarter, I encourage you to continue your education. Whether you are staying in Auburn or returning home, register now for summer and fall classes if you haven’t already. Summer quarter classes will be remote – virtual and online. Fall quarter classes will be mostly remote with some limited on-campus, in-person instruction. Contact your advisor if you have any questions. Be sure to keep your individual educational plan updated so that you stay focused on your pathway.
