As a small token of appreciation and a way to give back to the community, I’m starting the ‘Erdenebileg scholarship’ for Mongolian and international students to honor my late father who gave his everything to make sure his daughters got their education.
Tatum van Aartsen came to Green River College from The Netherlands for a 3 month Gap Year experience. What made her time here special was her opportunity to play on the women's varsity soccer team.

Lin Shi graduated from Green River College in 2013. She transferred to UW Seattle and majored in Economics. She then graduated with a Master of Arts in Applied Economics at Georgetown University. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at American University and working as an Adjunct Economics Instructor.

Over 60 universities attended the transfer fair last week. Some of the universities included top schools such as Columbia University, University of Washington, UC San Diego, Rutgers, Embry-Riddle, Wisconsin, Iowa University, and Arizona State University. Over 200 students attended this successful event which was held in the Student Union building.
To guarantee housing, students must have a complete application.

Year after year Green River College international students gain admission to the top 100 universities across the United States and abroad. The University of Washington Seattle (ranked #7 according to US News World Ranking) was a popular choice for our students this year.
This summer students can choose among many in-person activities including, horseback riding, hiking, shopping, soccer, and arts and crafts.
On June 25th, staff and student leaders took new international students on a trip to Black Diamond Camp. Students enjoyed soaring through the trees, on a zipline, playing basketball, participating in arts and crafts, sitting by a campfire, and most of all making new friends.
The Recreation & Athletics Center is one of the more popular spots on the Green River College campus. It is free for all GRC students.
