What is one thing you wish you knew about college before you started as a student?

I wish I’d known there would be people betting on my failure and success as a student, but I am in control of my own education. My strength is taking in feedback, but sometimes I’m dependent on approval from others. I had to learn to listen to my own voice, wants and needs.

What do you like to do when you're not working?

Outside of work, I enjoy camping all over the PNW, cooking and baking. Summer grilling combines all of that and I love it! I also love new DIY projects and family time.

Biography:

I moved a lot during K12 and in my young adult life, but home has always been where family is. I am the daughter of Hmong refugees. I discovered a passion for working with students while volunteering in college. Serving my community is very important to me because I think there will always be a need to give.
