Conditions for Admission

  1. Conditional Guaranteed Admission (CGA)
    Admission is guaranteed if the conditions listed are fulfilled.
  2. Associate Degree
    This can mean Associate in Business Administration, Associate of Arts or Associate in Science.
  3. English Requirement: Submit an approved form of proof of English Proficiency, e.g., official TOEFL score of 92 and above on the internet-based test or an IELTS score of 7.0 and above. Students may also submit an official TOEFL score of 68–91 on the internet-based test or an IELTS score of 6.0-6.5 for entry into Seattle University’s Cultural & Language Bridge program.)
    Two English composition courses that are generally taught by all colleges and universities in the United States. Students must complete both of these classes to earn Associate Degrees in most majors, so they are not classes taken especially for admission to UTP partner schools. E101 is known at Green River as Engl&101. The English 126/7/8 are composition classes geared to humanities, social sciences and business/science respectively. Students would choose the right one for their majors.
  4. Please note that a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and above and an official TOEFL score of 92 and above or an IELTS score of 7.0 and above qualifies you to receive a merit scholarship. Please visit www.seattleu.edu/scholarships for more information.
  5. Minimum Green River Grade Point Average (GPA) is 3.0
