Three weeks ago we celebrated the "graduation' of our Fall 2021 Global Leadership Program (GLP) in person! Twenty-seven local and international students from ten different countries received instruction in key leadership skills development.

Green River College has been named one of the top 150 community colleges in the country by the Aspen Institute College Excellence Program. As a Top finalist, GRC is eligible for the 2023 $1 million Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, the nation’s signature recognition of high achievement and performance.

For students who plan to remain in their home country, we will continue to offer comprehensive online/virtual instruction and service. For students who are able to come to the U.S. to study, we will begin to phase in in-person instruction and service starting fall quarter.

Despite the pandemic, Green River College International Students transferred to top universities, and a record number transferred to UC Berkeley for fall 2021.
