Green River College International Programs
Dream Jang came to Green River in the fall of 2010 and graduated in June 2013 with her high school diploma and AB degree. She transferred to University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, majored in Political Science and graduated in June 2015 with her Bachelor’s degree. She now works full-time in the field of International Cooperation Development and at the same time is pursuing her Master’s degree in Korea.

Anh Nguyen is from Vietnam. She came to Green River College in the fall of 2015 and will be transferring to the University of Texas, Arlington in January 2018 after receiving her high school diploma and 60 college credits.

Mark Li completed his Associate in Science Degree at Green River College in 2015 and is now a Ph. D. candidate in the Department of Cell and Anatomy at the University of Iowa. He is grateful for the support and encouragement he received at Green River College and encourages current and future Gators to reach out to Green River faculty and staff whenever they need help.

Seventy percent of the international students at Green River College receive their high school diploma in five quarters or less!
Year after year Green River international students gain admission to the top 100 universities across the United States and abroad. Students come to Green River for their first two years of university, work hard and then have a number of options when it comes to university tranfer. Jonathan Santoso is from Indonesia. He came to Green River in the fall of 2015 and took part in the High School Completion program. He graduated in June 2017 with his high school diploma and his AA degree. He is majoring in Chemical Engineering and transferring to UC Berkeley this fall.
Uyanga E. Uka attended Green River College from 2008-2019 and transferred to the University of Washington. She majored in accounting and then obtained an MBA from the University of Fiance and Economics of Mongolia. She now works as a tax professional with a global mining firm.
Aki Satouchi is from Japan. She started out in Intensive English in March 2015 and is now transferring to University of Michigan in the fall 2017. Her goal is to major in International Studies.
