Green River College was founded in 1965 and is a government-funded college located near Seattle. We have a beautiful campus filled with tall evergreen trees, the perfect environment for study. Our top goal is student success. We serve more than 8,700 students, with over 700 international students from more than 60 countries. Green River is ranked #11 in international student enrollment among 2-year colleges in the United States and #1 in Washington State. (IIE, 2022-2023). Our 2+2 transfer program offers students an opportunity to start their 4-year bachelor's degree. We have University Transfer Pathway agreements with over 40 universities.
