Welcome to Career & Advising

Our comprehensive services are designed to inform, support and encourage individuals to be self-directed in the educational planning process.

At the Career and Advising Center we help with:

  • Identifying and evaluating academic and career interests
  • New student Advising and Enrollment sessions (during active new student enrollment each quarter)
  • Preparation for university transfer
  • Development of academic plans
  • Interpretation of institutional and program/degree requirements
  • Referral to college and community resources, including faculty advisor assignment

Schedule an Appointment:

Please NOTE: Career and Advising will be on drop-in advising for all in-person students Wednesday, Dec 21st through Thursday, Dec 29th from 8-5 p.m. (9:30 to 4:30 on Friday, Dec 23rd).  We will be closed on Monday, Dec 26th. Students can make virtual advising appointments during this time or drop-in to campus for help.

Both in-person and virtual advising will be drop-in only from Friday, December 30th through Wednesday, Jan 4th to help with first week of winter advising. 

Students may join drop-in advising virtually through our VA lobby ( or in SA 104.

Virtual Assistance drop in advising available Mondays and Thursdays 11-1 p.m.

Please note that Career and Advising will be closed on the following days during Winter term in observance of holidays:
January 2nd
January 16th
February 20th

Advising Day is on Tuesday, January 31 and advising staff and full-time faculty will be actively advising on campus. Connect with your assigned advisor on how to connect.
