English for Speakers of other Languages

The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program at Green River College serves immigrant and refugee students.

The program offers six levels of English and additional support classes. There are classes in the morning and evening on the main campus and sites in Kent and Auburn.

For more information about ESOL, call 253-833-9111, ext. 2315, to talk with staff in the office of Basic Skills who will help you to sign up for the test you must take before starting classes. We have Russian and Spanish speaking staff to assist you.

ESOL classes cost $35 per quarter.

Note: All ESOL students pay a $25.00 per quarter fee to the college and another $10.00 materials fee per quarter. The maximum charge to any ESOL student is $35.00 per quarter. The tuition fee may be waived if you are eligible, but the materials fee cannot be waived.
