Where You'll be Studying

Campus Locations

Utrecht, The Netherlands

Utrecht is the fourth largest city in The Netherlands and is located about 30 minutes outside of Amsterdam. It boasts beautiful canals with extraordinary wharf cellars housing cafes and terraces by the water. The city has many historic buildings and monuments, going back to the middle ages, each contributing to the special atmosphere of this vibrant university town. Stroll past centuries worth of history or climb the 465 steps to the top of the famous Dom Tower. The city centre forms a lovely backdrop for its many boutiques with the latest fashion, three large outdoor markets, and many places to eat.

Edinburgh, Scotland

Heriot-Watt University

Edinburgh is one of Europe's most beautiful cities, draped across a series of rocky hills overlooking the sea. A bustling and vibrant city, steeped in history and host to a variety of colorful festivals throughout the year.  While you are there the famous Edinburgh International Festival will be going on.  This is an annual festival that brings top class performers of music, theatre, opera and dance from around the world to perform.  The festival also hosts a series of visual art exhibitions, talks and workshops.  Edinburgh will be bustling with activity and there will be no shortage of things to do. Walk along the cobbled streets, fashionable walkways and ancient alleys that inspired J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series, and discover the stylish boutiques and gift shops and explore the architecture, history, and theatres that Edinburgh has to offer.

During your stay, you will live in student apartments in both Utrecht and Edinburgh. Green River College faculty, Dr. Michael Moreno, will lead the group and teach the classes.
