Hello, my name is Patricia Argie and I am an international student from Indonesia. I came to Green River College in the Spring of 2015 in order to get my High School degree and purse a higher education in Criminal Justice and Business Management. I am extremely honored to be your 2016-2017 Student Body President. I have been a part of student government since Fall of 2015 as a Senator in the Public Relations committee. My main goal this year is to improve communication between students, faculty, and administration. I will try my best to connect students and be involved throughout campus. If anyone has any concerns regarding anything, feel free to come up and speak with me. I will try my best to resolve any issues you face.
Hello! My name is Harjot Singh; I am originally from Dallas Texas but have been living in Washington for the past few years. My interests include politics, history, and learning about the many different cultures of the world. Last year, I served as an Ex-Officio member in the Finance Committee for Student Government and this year I will be serving as the ASGRC Vice-President. One of my main goals in my role as the ASGRC Vice-President is to improve the relationship on campus between students , staff, faculty and administration. I strongly believe the key to student success is to build meaningful relationships outside of the classroom. To achieve this goal, this year we will be working to invite individuals from all parts of the campus to come and interact with the student body. I hope this year, as a community, we can come together and create an even better environment for everyone on campus!
