About College Relations

The office of College Relations is responsible for advancing the understanding and support of Green River College among key internal and external audiences, including: faculty and staff; current and prospective students; community leaders; media; elected officials and governmental entities; and other friends of the college.

We are available to assist campus offices, departments and programs plan, design, and execute communications that reach out to prospective students, attract an audience to an event, or otherwise deliver important information in a timely and effective manner. The office is made of of two key functions: Communications and Creative Services.

Communications

Through publications, news media, the College's website, and other forms of communication, we highlight the high quality and diversity of our programs, promote upcoming campus events and celebrate the achievements of our students, graduates, faculty and staff.

The office produces Gator News, the official newsletter for Green River College, which is constantly updated to provide fresh content and opportunity for reader interaction.

For specific help with a communications project (such as a press release or article for Gator News), please get in touch with the College Relations office at least three to four weeks prior to the date your project must be completed or your event is planned.

Creative Services

Creative Services manages the design and production of official college publications, advertising, billboards, promotional pieces and a variety of departmental marketing needs. We assist campus clients in developing strong and effective materials that maintain the college's branding and graphic identity.

We're happy to assist the campus community in the development and creation of marketing and promotional materials, from stationery to production design to photography and video services.
