The Green River College website is managed collaboratively by each campus, department, division and program. College Relations works alongside Information Technology to provide strategic oversight, content development, training and support to our users and content managers.
College Relations works primarily within the main Green River website of greenriver.edu and provides assistance with the college intranet, GatorNet. Web applications hosted on greenriver.edu such as Class Finder, Registration Access Time, and others are managed by Information Technology and administered by other departments. While College Relations does not directly manage web applications we can help direct you to the correct contacts if you have questions about these applications.
Web Services
College Relations provides a variety of services in support of greenriver.edu and for Content Managers.
Content Manager Training
For departments able to manage their own content, College Relations provides training on how to use the content management system. Content Managers must receive approval from their supervisors, and each area should only have one to two content managers.
Website Updates
For sections of the website without a content manager, or if content managers need additional support, College Relations is available to apply requested updates, re-design or re-work page/section layouts, and create new pages/sections.
