When are my Housing fees due?

Housing fees are due in full on or before the move in day for each quarter. Deadlines for each quarter are listed within our Important Dates website.

How do I pay for my Housing fees?

Housing fees are added to a resident’s Entrata Ledger prior to move-in day each quarter and can be in the Resident portal.

Payments may be made in the following ways:

24/7 via Resident Portal:

  • Credit/Debit Cards
  • ACH transfers
  • Apple Pay
  • SEPA Debit
  • BAH/MHA Payment
  • BACS Direct Debit
  • Instant Bank Transfer
  • EChecks

Domestic and International Wire Transfers: Email to Request Information

In person at the Student Housing Office:

  • Check
  • Money order

Checks/Money orders should be made out to GRCC Student Village, LLC.

Please include the residents' name and unit number on the check.

What if I am a Financial Aid recipient?

  • Students who are eligible to receive Financial Aid (grants, loans, etc.) will need to notify the Student Housing office prior to the move-in day each quarter of their Financial Aid status.
  • Students will be required to pay an $800.00 payment on or prior to move-in day.
  • Financial Aid will pay toward your tuition and fees owed first.
  • If there are additional funds left over once tuition and fees are paid in full, students receive a refund via BankMobile. They can then use these funds to pay for their rent using one of the methods listed above.
  • Important: Financial Aid does not automatically pay your rent for you.
  • Students are eligible for a set amount of Financial Aid each quarter, and the cost of Housing is likely to exceed the amount received in grants alone, meaning students may still owe Housing fees out-of-pocket.
  • Specific questions about the Financial Aid process and specific student award amounts must be directed toward Green River College Financial Aid

Payment Plans (domestic students only)

  • Residents interested in this option must pay close attention to the payment deadlines and amounts for each payment per quarter.
  • Payment plans are arranged with the office directly.

What if I am receiving Veteran benefits to help pay for Housing?

VA education benefits and Housing payment deadlines do not always align. Most students using VA education benefits receive their Basic allowance for Housing (BAH) OR Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA) directly from the VA after the quarter begins and after their enrollment has been certified. The VA does not typically pay Housing charges directly to Student Housing.

If you plan to use VA education benefits to help pay for Housing:

  • Contact the Veteran Services Office (Link) early to ensure your benefits are processed as quickly as possible.
  • Notify the Student Housing Office before move-in if you are expecting VA funding.
  • Work with Student Housing to establish a payment plan if your VA payment will not arrive before the Housing payment deadline.
  • A minimum payment of $800.00 is due on or before move-in day, even if you are expecting VA education benefits.

Please note: VA education benefits do not automatically defer Housing charges and may not cover your full Housing costs. You are responsible for any remaining balance. It is important to get connected with the Veteran Services office early on to take advantage of the many benefits and support services available to you.
