What Student Life Activities Look Like When Students Can't Meet Face-to-Face

By Martha Koch, Manager International Student Activities, March 5, 2021

Green River College has thought of innovative ways to bring students together on Zoom and Jackbox.tv for evenings of fun and laughter. What sets us apart from other colleges?  We send out prizes!  Doesn't matter where you live, we make sure you get a little bit of GRC in your mailbox.

If you are competitive, join Game Night! We use Jackbox.tv and Zoom to draw, compete in trivia and lie to each other in order to win Gator prizes. When you participate in Campus Talk or win at Game Night, the international student ambassadors will email the prize list to you so you can choose what you want. We mail prizes all over the US and internationally! It is fun to receive a prize in your mail and you can show everyone you belong to the Green River College Gator family. We have t-shirts, blankets, notebooks, hats, water bottles, magnets, coffee cups, and more for you. If you live near the college, we offer prizes of snacks, drinks, ice cream or milkshakes and meals you can heat up at home.

Follow us on Instagram @ipgreenriver to find out how you can join us.  We welcome prospective students!

These items can be picked up at the Green River College bookstore: The Paper Tree. Did you know the bookstore is open for you Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm? You must wear a mask so you can go shopping for snacks, personal supplies, and school supplies. Hope to see you at our activities…try to beat me at Game Night!
