Financial aid programs at Green River are administered according to nationally established policies and guidelines, which are based on the belief that parents have the primary responsibility for assisting their children with educational expenses.

Loan Programs

 Direct PLUS Loan
A federal loan program for parents of dependent students. 7.6% interest rate. Payment can be deferred.
No Maximum loan for parents is based on cost of attendance, less any other aid. 
Federal Direct Loan
A federal loan program with 5.05% interest for subsidized and unsubsidized loans with deferred payments.
6 No Maximum amount $5,500 as a freshman, $6,500 as a sophomore, and $7,500 BAS level plus additional Unsubsidized amounts. Minimum varies depending on eligibility.

Tuition Deferment

Winter quarter tuition deferment will be given to files completed by October 1.
