Financial Aid Refund

Green River College has partnered with BankMobile Disbursements to deliver your remaining financial aid funds after your tuition has been paid.

Change/Verify Email & Mailing Address

Please make sure Green River College has an accessible email and your current mailing address on file to prevent delays in receive your financial aid refund and to keep your aid secure.

You can view what email and mailing address are currently on file with the college and update them yourself in ctcLink by selecting the Profile tile in the Student Homepage. Approximately 1 week after you receive your financial aid offer letter, instructions about how to select your refund preference with BankMobile will be emailed to you using your preferred email selected in ctcLink, not necessarily your student email, and a green envelope with instructions will also be mailed to your current address.

If you have received financial aid from Green River College in the past and have already selected a refund preference, please log-into your BankMobile account online to update any outdated information. Updates to your information made in ctcLink will not automatically update with BankMobile.


How can I check on the status of my aid?

Please check the preferred email you have selected in ctcLink regularly along with the Tasks, Message Center, and Financial Aid tiles in ctcLink for updates on your financial aid. To update your email, select the Profile tile in ctcLink.


The 2023-24 FAFSA and WASFA applications are now open. You must renew your FAFSA/WASFA every year to receive aid. The 2023-24 application covers aid for summer 2023 - spring 2024. The priority deadline for summer and fall quarter next year is April 30th, but students who submit earlier may qualify for more aid and will be notified sooner about how much aid they can expect to receive.

Student Loan Debt Relief Is Blocked

Courts have issued orders blocking the U.S. Department of Education's student debt relief program. As a result, at this time, Federal Student Aid is not accepting applications. They are seeking to overturn those orders. If you've already applied, Federal Student Aid will hold your application. Subscribe and check the website for updates. Information will be posted on as soon as further updates are available.
