Securing Your Mac OS X Device

GRC or personally owned Mac OS X computers must use FileVault2 or another encryption solution that complies with GRC standards.

If your computer belongs to GRC, have IT helpdesk enable encryption so that they can make sure it is set up according to GRC Endpoint Management procedures. Those with personally owned Macs should follow Appleā€™s directions on how to Use FileVault to encrypt the startup disk on your Mac.
