Grad to Gator

The Grad to Gator program is designed for high school seniors who are strongly considering Green River College. GRC staff visit your school and provide guidance through the admissions application, placement, and financial aid process to prepare you for first quarter registration. The biggest benefit of Grad to Gator is that students in this program get to register before other new students, when they attend College Signing Day in May.

Grad to Gator has four major parts that occur between January and May*:

Information & Application session (we visit your school) – learn about GRC and apply to the college
Placement & Pre-Advising session (we visit your school) – GRC staff review transcripts or Smarter Balance scores to place you into a Math and English level, and discuss what classes you should be registering for based on your program of interest.
Paying for College session (we visit your school) – learn about the many ways to pay for college, and get assistance filling out the FAFSA or WASFA applications
College Signing Day (you visit GRC) – an opportunity to meet your new classmates and connect with other GRC resources as you sign-up for your first quarter classes. GRC transports you to the main campus for the day.

Grad to Gator serves the Auburn, Kent, Enumclaw, Tahoma, Renton, and other surrounding area school districts.
