Assessment & Testing Center Mission Statement
The Green River College Assessment and Testing Center contributes to educational access, student success, and community enrichment through administration of placement, proctored, professional, and instructional testing in adherence to the National College Testing Association’s Professional Standards and Guidelines. We serve students, faculty, and community with commitment to accessibility, equity, and integrity.

Course Placement Testing
Course placement can be achieved through a variety of means including testing.
Green River instructors may arrange for students to take their tests in the Testing Center.
Green River College is a GED® testing site and offers preparation courses.
Program Admissions Testing
Selective admissions programs may require testing as part of the application process.
Proctoring services are available for students at other institutions or agencies.

For acedemic integrity purposes, some items will not be allowed in the testing room. These items can be stored in lockers at the Testing Center. Please visit the Prohibited Items page for a complete list of these items.
