GRC receives national recognition for excellence in marketing and communications

Green River College's College Relations team recently received top honors from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) Paragon Awards competition. This annual competition recognize outstanding achievement in design and communication at community and technical colleges. It’s the only national competition of its kind that honors excellence exclusively among marketing and public relations professionals at community and technical colleges.

Green River faced strong competition as NCMPR has more than 1,700 members from nearly 650 colleges across the United States and Canada. In total, GRC placed in four categories, taking home, one Silver Medal, and three Bronze Medals.

The Paragon Awards were presented by NCMPR in a virtual ceremony on March 17, 2021 and is available to watch: NCMPR 2020 Paragon Awards - Virtual Presentation. GRC was previously awarded six Gold Medals, one Silver Medal, and two Bronze Medals during the NCMPR District 7 Medallion Awards.
